WASHINGTON - The faltering US economy is fueling a dramatic turnaround in military recruiting, with new statistics showing that the Army is experiencing the highest rate of new enlistments in six years. This article from the "Boston Globe" is absolutely UNBELIEVABLE.
The Army exceeded its goals each month from October through January - the first quarter of the new fiscal year - for both the active-duty Army and the Army Reserve, according to figures compiled by the US Army Recruiting Command.
It's unbelievable because the Leftist leaning (more like falling) Globe didn't attribute the increase in recruitment to Obama's magic powers of persuasion. We'll see how things go when he starts stripping the military down to the bare bones like Friar Carter did in the 70's.
