From the Say Anything blog:
I’ve often said that, for many policy makers, global warming is less about saving the planet than it’s about having an excuse to control every single aspect of your life from what you drive to where your home’s temperature is set at. In Great Britain we’re getting indications of just how true this is as the government seeks to ban big screen televisions in the name of global warming.I just can't help thinking how absolutely VOLUMINOUS the civil litigation will be if the truth about "Anthropogenic Global Warming" is found (without equivocation) to be a farce. Just about every manufacturer legislated and pressured away from niche markets will have a case against governments, do-gooder non-profits, carbon credit firms and those individuals who have chosen to put themselves out front and center pushing a non-proven theory. It would make the tobacco class action suits look like a proverbial picnic.
Incidentally, people "cause Anthropogenic Global Warming"...right? Let's get rid of some of them. My contribution to the cause will be to choose which ones...
